Gaurav Bali

Gaurav Bali started playing guitar in the mid 1980's after being exposed to Indian classical music as a child. After studying many styles of music in the NY/NJ area he started teaching guitar and eventually taught a multi-platinum selling Grammy Award winning artist. In 1999, Gaurav joined hard rock band Eve to Adam and they immediately started writing songs for their debut album, "Auburn Slip" (2001). In 2003, ETA released an EP entitled "Antidote", and their next full length album, "Queens to Eden", was released in 2007. The band's latest effort, "Banquet for a Starving Dog", was released in 2011 through Universal Music Group and has received great reviews from fans and critics alike. The first single from BFASD, "Run Your Mouth", reached #26 on the Mainstream Rock charts and the accompanying video features Dann Florek (Law and Order SVU), Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos), Chuck Zito (OZ), and Indian TV star Kavita Kaushik. The second single, "Reach", is currently in the top 20 on the Mainstream Rock charts and Alice Cooper himself debuted Eve To Adam's cover of the classic "School's Out" on his syndicated radio show. ETA has toured with such acts as Motley Crue, Scorpions, Tesla, Daughtry, Three Doors Down, P.O.D., Saving Abel and Hinder. In 2012, they landed the direct support slot on Creed's "2 Nights Live" Tour and plan on touring throughout the remainder of the year.

While searching for a way to improve his sounds, Gaurav discovered EVH products. "I was hooked the minute I heard the 5150 III because all three channels sound amazing...I use a lot of effects, and this amp works great with all of them". He's just as excited about EVH guitars..."The Wolfgang models have so many useful features like the locking nut, D-Tuna and stainless steel frets...they're a dream for guitar players who are constantly recording and touring... I can't wait to see what they come up with in the future and I'm extremely proud to be associated with the EVH family."
